”I do not own any of the songs’ copyrights and not intend to make any profit out of this video”

Welcome To The Show is an anthem about facing exactly who you are and OWNING it. Its intended as a mantra to inspire strength and PRIDE. After recording the song a few months ago, I felt very compelled to create a video to further communicate it’s meaning.

I notice such diversity in my audiences when I’m on tour: Young, old, male, female, Trans, Gay, Straight, White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, and every beautiful in-between. The common bond is that they are all HUMAN BEINGS. No matter how we identify, the human heart has a universal set of emotions and needs. Sure it’s idealistic, but couldn’t we be recognizing our similarities, instead of our differences? It all comes down to Identity. We as a society are obsessed with how to classify and define each person. There are new labels invented monthly for how to describe new “types”. In some cases, these labels are needed to empower us and give us clarity, but it seems that at some point, all the categorizing can become quite divisive. I’ve seen so many people trapped by the identity they put so much effort into maintaining, or shunned by choosing not to. I have fallen into that trap myself. True Individuality seems daunting in our age of social media popularity contests. Sometimes it’s terrifying to face your true, whole self, stripped of any pretense. The good, the bad, the cracks, and the scars. I am no stranger to the feeling of not liking myself. Once I get past my own body image issues, I realize that I sometimes also neglect my own spirit. Living in a world filled with so much hatred sometimes makes cultivating self-love a very difficult task. I have always struggled with this as I’m sure many of you have. My path is a kind of paradox in that I get to share my craft with the world, but also be willing to throw myself to the wolves. To dare to be different, but still wanting to be accepted. There is vast beauty to be found in life’s contradictions. This non-binary reality allows us to lead happy, expressive lives, and yet this very freedom comes with great risks. I’m not alone in this limbo. Through my art, I pledge to bring empathy and courage to anyone who has been made to feel unworthy or ashamed while daring to be themselves.

This is the first time I’ve produced my own music video. With the help of my friend and long- time collaborator Lee Cherry, we set out to co-direct something notably honest. I spoke with Laleh (the brilliant songwriter who is featured on the song) and we agreed on the vulnerability we wanted captured on screen. I think the more we as artists share ourselves openly, the more someone out there may feel inspired to do the same. I also felt a strong feeling of empowerment in creating this video independent of the label system. It was time to shoot this one on my own. This video isn’t about selling a song, or product placement, or racking up viral views. This is intended simply as a creative expression. What resulted on set came from a very free and organic headspace that allowed me to connect with the camera as if it were each person who’s supported me over the last 7 years. This video is a thank you to all of you who have lined up to see the Original High World Tour. To everyone who has listened and shared my songs and given me the purpose to keep moving forward. It’s a thank you to all of you who choose to accept and Love who YOU are! We hold each other up! I want you to keep celebrating exactly who you are, even if you don’t fit into the worlds ideas of what they think you should be. Take your flaws in stride, nurture your talents, take pride in your Queerness, and share all the love you have. — Adam Lambert

Sitting in her judge chair, Jen’s job is to critique the talented performers who grace the Idol stage. But there’s a reason she’s sitting in that chair in the first place… What a treat to watch our very own Jennifer Lopez take the stage to perform the awesome “Feel the Light” from the upcoming movie ‘Home

Selena Style Transformation ?? https://youtu.be/CgEuLPbQhyI

It’s here! Christmas has arrived early! Selly Sel’s long awaited “Hands to Myself” video has finally premiered and it is EVERYTHING.
Is it me or is Selena Gomez’s new video arrhythmia inducing? I swear I felt my heart stop palpitating a few times as she pranced around in her underwear with Hottie McHot. #Goals

The bangs! The penthouse view! The ‘designer underwear’ slash ‘man’s dress shirt’ outfit! I’ve lost all chill. So “Hands to Myself” is the 3rd single off Selena Gomez’s Revival album, and after all the mini teasers she’s been gifting us her grown ass self in this very sexually charged music video- I think we can agree we all died a little when we saw this…

Eat your heart out, Justin Bieber! I’m sure he died a little when he watched the video too. So, the video starts off with Selena just chillin’ in a beautiful home in what we can only assume to be in the Hollywood Hills. She’s hanging out, running around the house in her sexy lingerie, jamming along to the music playing on that Beats Pill speaker, taking showers and even getting hot and heavy with this guy…Who – fun fact – appeared in Demi Lovato’s ‘Here We Go Again’ music video like, six years ago!
He was such a baby then!! Who knew Christopher Mason would be making an even sexier appearance in Selena’s music video many years later? Anyway, back to the subject at hand. After watching Selena prance around a home that she was VERY familiar with, you would think the girl was invited into the place, but nope! In the very beginning we saw the sexy starlet was actually breaking and entering! Yeah, Selena, you thought no one was looking, but we all were! However, the guy she was making out with in previous scenes didn’t appreciate Selena in his home after their little rendezvous, so he called the cops and sadly Selly G got arrested.

If you thought the video was over, think again. In a serious plot twist, the whole thing turned out to be a video/mini movie that Selena and her boy toy were watching on his couch? In case you’re confused, Selena hit us with a little bit of inception by putting a video within her music video.

So, is this Selena’s sexiest video of all time or what?! Let me know below or tweet me at MistyKingma. And speaking of sexiness, click over here to find out how Selena went from adorable Disney darling to sexy pop starlet on Selena’s style evolution! I’m Misty Kingma, thanks for subscribing and have an awesome day!

Theuns Jordaan is a very well-known South African artist, born on a farm close to Venterstad in the Eastern Cape on 10 January 1971. He matriculated from Hoër Volkskool in Graaff-Reinet, after which he completed his military training in the South African Defence Force. Following this he enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained a B Econ degree. It was during his time at university that he first began singing, and his first public appearance was at The Terrace on 21 October 1992. In 1998 he moved to Pretoria and subsequently released his first album, Vreemde Stad, in 2000 at the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees (KKNK) in Oudtshoorn. It went on to sell more than 201,000 units. His second album, Tjailatyd, was released at Aardklop in Potchefstroom in 2002. This album has sold more than 220 000 to date.

In November 2005 he released Seisoen (more than 115 000 units sold to date) and then celebrated 7 years as a professional artist with the release of Grootste Treffers in 2007. In 2008 he collaborated with Juanita du Plessis on the DVD and CD release of Bring Jou Hart, which has sold more than 105 000 units. Being a huge fan of the music of the iconic Afrikaans singer, Koos du Plessis, Theuns released Koue Vuur in 2009, covering Koos du Plessis songs. It reached platinum status within 2 months. In 2012 he released his 5th solo album, Roeper, and also released Hart Vol Drome with Juanita du Plessis.

As a singer he is known for his deep, gravelly voice, but he has also proven to be a prolific song writer, with songs such as Soos Bloed, Jou Asem, Roeper van My Hart and Net Voor die Storm Kom.

This song is off his 1st album, Vreemde Stad, released in 2000.

Ben Carson’s Republican policies aren’t very appealing to most African Americans. Needing the support of this key demographic, he decided to put out a political rap. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to work. Cenk Uygur, host of the The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“Ben Carson has made his contribution to the annals of awkward rap ads promoting Republican presidential hopefuls, and it’s awful. The GOP front runner’s new radio advertisement features some confounding rhymes—”Vote and support Ben Carson. For the next president, he’d be awesome”—to try and add some hip hop credibility to the neurosurgeon’s soft-spoken way with words.

While Carson himself isn’t doing any of the rapping, he did provide the somber voiceover with such lines as:

“I’m very hopeful I’m not the only one who’s willing to pick up the baton of freedom, because freedom is not free and we must fight for it everyday.””*

Very well-known South African artist, song writer and actor, born in Pretoria on 29 August 1964. He matriculated from Grey College in Bloemfontein in 1982, after which he completed 2 years of military training in the Defence Force, and then enrolled at the Drama School of the Pretoria Technicon, obtaining his diploma in 1986. He first appeared on TV in 1985 in “Guillam Woudberg”, following this up with “Agter Elke Man” (as Bruce Beyers) from 1986 – 1988, “Egoli” (as Doug Durand) from 1992 – 2001, “7de Laan” from 2007 to present, and he hosts his own TV show, “Dis Hoe Dit Is”. He has also appeared in several stage productions (including Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1989) and films (including “Platteland” in 2011 and “Pretville” in 2012).

His music career started as a young boy singing in the church choir, and from the age of 11 he started writing songs. His first album “Desertbound” was released in 1989, and he has since released a further 22 albums. He first appeared on the international stage when he recorded “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” with the Belgian superstar, Dana Winner, in 1997. The song reached number 2 on the Belgian charts and they toured to sell-out performances. In 2001 he toured South Africa with “Beautiful Noise”, a show depicting the life and music of Neil Diamond. It was a huge success, with 224 concerts held across the country and all tickets sold. 150 of the songs he has written to date have been recorded by South African and international artists.

This song is off his second album “Only Me” released in 1990.

Alphaville’s ‘Little America’ DVD reformatted to HD, wide screen. Best watched in 720p. An audio version of this is still available worldwide under the name ‘Stark Naked and Absolutely Live’. The DVD was recorded in July of 1999 and released in 2,000. It contains live performances of everything – from their big hits to fan favorites.
Alphaville kept playing until the folks running the venue told Alphaville they had to shut it down. Unfortunately, no video can do a live concert justice — certainly not this one. But enjoy the best you can! Unfortunately, the ‘Little America’ DVD is not in print at this time. It was a very limited offer, but you can still get the magnificent audio version! Get Alphaville ‘Stark Naked and Absolutely Live’ while you still can.

The family of the South African hostage, released in the Philippines on Sunday, have welcomed news of the release.

Muslim rebels freed five foreign hostages from a jungle hideout Sunday, but still held 19 other captives on the remote Philippine island of Jolo.

The Abu Sayyaf separatist rebels released four women, including South African, Monique Strydom, and one man after Libya agreed to pay 1 (m) million dollars in ransom for each hostage, negotiators said.

Monique’s parents in Pretoria, Monica and Heggie Aggenbag, described their daughter’s release as feeling like “Christmas”.

Their joy was lessened only by the fact that Monique’s husband Callie Strydom is still held by the rebels.

Callie’s brother, Sam Strydom said, however, that he believed his brother was stronger than Monique and would cope without her.

SOUNDBITE: (Afrikaans)
“It’s an absolutely wonderful emotional feeling that one gets when you hear something like that.”
SUPER CAPTION: Hennie Aggenbag, Father

SOUNDBITE: (Afrikaans)
“Now it’s Christmas, we’ve got the most wonderful, beautiful present”
SUPER CAPTION: Monica Aggenbag, Mother

REPORTER QUESTION; “How do you feel about Callie (Monique’s husband who’s been left behind)?”
“Well actually that’s a sad story but what can you do. We thought that they would come out together, but one is a bargain and Callie is next, we know it”
SUPER CAPTION: Hennie Aggenbag, Father

SOUNDBITE: (English)
“I’m very happy that one is out, that’s a good sign, and I think Callie was more the stronger one than Monique and I hope he will cope without her and I’m so happy for Monique being out”
SUPER CAPTION: Sam Strydom, Callie’s brother

SOUNDBITE: (English)
“Monique said that she will not leave that place without Callie. Since then I think she got the message. The Foreign Affairs said that if she can get out she must get out, she must not stay there because we knew that Callie would follow just after her”

I’m surprised the girl wasn’t the main singer of the group given there’s 4-1 in guy/girl ratio lol but the guy is actually a good singer..and this song actually worked very well. A guy singing a girl song doesn’t turn out good in some talent shows but this one did but i wonder if the group will be hindered later on with such small numbers compared to groups that have a lot of back up and it showed in the middle…B
