A TODDLER hangs off the back of a super-sized pit bull – that could snap a man’s arm with a SINGLE bite. But despite being a banned breed in the UK, breeders Marlon and Lisa Grennan say monster dog ‘the Hulk’ is 100 per cent trusted with their young son. Despite the lethal potential of 12-stone Hulk and the couple’s many other dogs, three-year-old Jordan has grown up with them within arm’s reach. The couple’s company Dark Dynasty K9s supplies animals to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals – as well as law enforcement around the world. They are trained to have ‘no fear’ and some specialist dogs can even run up the side of fences and walls to reach second-floor windows. Many their dogs share their house on a sprawling 150-acre ranch in New Hampshire, USA. The dogs include more than a dozen highly trained pit bulls – and a single chihuahua.

THE world’s biggest pit bull cuddles up to his adorable new litter – valued at a whopping half-a-million dollars. The eight puppies were fathered by gentle giant Hulk, who weighs in at a huge 12 stone. And even though his owners say his bite could ‘snap a man’s arm like a toothpick’, here he shows off his softer side by nuzzling and licking his new brood. The eight pups could collectively command $500,000 (£320,000) if they go through owner Marlon Grennan’s training school to become elite protection dogs. And there are even hopes one of the new batch could one day grow big enough to steal their father’s crown. Hulk, who made international headlines when he was unveiled earlier this year, has also been in training to become a protection dog at Dark Dynasty K9s in New Hampshire, USA. The business supplies protection dogs to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals – as well as law enforcement around the world.

Live recording of 90th Birthday song for Nelson Mandela in the Jacaranda 94.2 music radio station studios in Midrand, South Africa. What made the shoot challenging and quite a feat, is the fact that four of South Africa’s top solo artists agreed (at 24 hours’ notice) to come to the studio and record a song they had never rehearsed or heard before. The song was hastily written by the Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast production team, including Dean Konidaris, who is featured on this footage recording the song. It happened in a single evening session for Kurt Darren, Tasha Baxter and Craig Hinds. Danny K laid down his voice tracks the next morning at 5:30am! Tasha recorded no less than 6 different voice tracks to add depth to the song. Watershed lead singer Craig Hinds faced the biggest challenge, as the song stretched his vocal capacity both at the top and the bottom of his range. But we got through it and the final mix of the song was played live on Just Plain Breakfast with Darren Scott, less than two hours after Danny K finished his part of the recording. The video had to be produced with the same haste (approx 2 hours for edit, final mix, conversion and upload) and in very cramped production studio conditions. It was a one-woman shoot from start to finish and soundtrack synch without timecode proved to be a horror. Despite this it was a fabulous collaboration which made it in time for the morning of Nelson Mandelas 90th Birthday on 18 July 2008. The video was uploaded to the …
