**NOTE** This song has NOTHING to do with people from Tennessee, nor people from the south, nor white people as a whole. It’s making fun of one FICTIONAL cartoon character named ShittyG. ShittyG is NOT real! He does NOT exist in real life, so there is no reason for anyone to be offended by the fact that we’re making fun of him. Thank you, and enjoy the video. We and Ray had tons of fun making it for you. -The YFM Team DOWNLOAD THE MP3: bit.ly OUR FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com

Live recording of 90th Birthday song for Nelson Mandela in the Jacaranda 94.2 music radio station studios in Midrand, South Africa. What made the shoot challenging and quite a feat, is the fact that four of South Africa’s top solo artists agreed (at 24 hours’ notice) to come to the studio and record a song they had never rehearsed or heard before. The song was hastily written by the Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast production team, including Dean Konidaris, who is featured on this footage recording the song. It happened in a single evening session for Kurt Darren, Tasha Baxter and Craig Hinds. Danny K laid down his voice tracks the next morning at 5:30am! Tasha recorded no less than 6 different voice tracks to add depth to the song. Watershed lead singer Craig Hinds faced the biggest challenge, as the song stretched his vocal capacity both at the top and the bottom of his range. But we got through it and the final mix of the song was played live on Just Plain Breakfast with Darren Scott, less than two hours after Danny K finished his part of the recording. The video had to be produced with the same haste (approx 2 hours for edit, final mix, conversion and upload) and in very cramped production studio conditions. It was a one-woman shoot from start to finish and soundtrack synch without timecode proved to be a horror. Despite this it was a fabulous collaboration which made it in time for the morning of Nelson Mandelas 90th Birthday on 18 July 2008. The video was uploaded to the

Platteland is set to the biggest Afrikaans musical to date and is scheduled for cinema release nationally on 16 June 2011. The film tells the story of Riana van Niekerk (Lianie May) who is desperately fighting to save her family’s farm from Mike Ferreira (Steve Hofmeyr) who has his own agenda and is determined to drive Riana from the land and seize her farm. When Dirk Pretorius (Bok van Blerk), a drifter with many secrets of his own, arrives in town, new alliances are formed and love blossoms in the most unlikely quarters. Platteland features some of the greatest hits of the past few years including Tyd om te Trek (Bok van Blerk), Vergeet My Nie (Lianie May) and Pa en Seun (Steve Hofmeyr en Bok van Blerk), ensuring that Platteland will be hugely popular. The stellar cast comprises Bok van Blerk who shot to fame with his massive hit De la Rey and has since become one of the biggest names in Afrikaans music. He has a string of hits behind his name, including Tyd om te Trek, My Kreet and Die Kaplyn. He garnered the 2009 SAMA Award for his top selling album Afrikanerhart. Steve Hofmeyr, the bad boy of the South African music scene, started his acting career in the phenomenally successful television series Agter Elke Man before going on to cement his reputation as South Africa’s most successful singer and songwriter with sales in excess of two million and a string of chart-topping hits such as Pampoen, Agter Elke Man and FM Stereo. His album Toeka was awarded a SAMA for top
