Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. He appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. During the group’s hiatus, Timberlake released his debut studio album Justified (2002), which included the successful singles “Cry Me a River” and “Rock Your Body”, and earned his first two Grammy Awards.
His second record, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), distinguished from his previous release by its wide-range of musical influences, debuted atop the US Billboard 200 and produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles “SexyBack”, “My Love”, and “What Goes Around… Comes Around”. With his first two albums exceeding sales of 10 million copies worldwide, he was established as one of the most commercially successful singers of the decade. From 2008 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus; he held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time, and Friends with Benefits.
In 2013, Timberlake resumed his music career with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, exploring neo soul styles with the song structures of 1960s and 1970s rock. The former became the best-selling record of the year in the US and spawned the top-three singles “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors”, while the latter produced the top-ten song “Not a Bad Thing”. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2013. Timberlake’s work has earned him numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards, the latter being for his appearances on Saturday Night Live. His other ventures include record label Tennman Records, fashion label William Rast, and the restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality.

As a songwriter, over 150 of Stapleton’s songs have appeared on albums by such artists as Adele, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. He has co-written with notable artists like Vince Gill, Peter Frampton and Sheryl Crow. Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA — a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song “Love Me Sexy” to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon’s franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA. If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must now do the seemingly impossible — win. Semi-Pro co-stars Woody Harrelson (Anger Management, White Men Can’t Jump), Will Arnett (Blades of Glory, “Arrested Development”), Andre Benjamin (Four Brothers, music group Outkast), Rob Corddry, Maura Tierney, Josh Braaten, DeRay Davis, Jay Phillips, Jackie Earle Haley and Andy Richter. The film is written by Scot Armstrong (Old School), directed by Kent Alterman, produced by Jimmy Miller, and will be released on February 29, 2008.

Bastille are an English rock band formed in London in 2010. They began as a solo project by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who later decided to form a band. The four-piece is completed by Chris Wood, William Farquarson and Kyle Simmons. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day – an event celebrated on Smith’s birthday, 14 July.

In December 2010, EMI Music announced that they had offered Bastille a record contract with Virgin Records. Their debut single, “Overjoyed” was subsequently released in April 2012. Their first studio album, titled Bad Blood, was released in March 2013 and debuted atop the UK Albums Chart. The band was nominated for four Brit Awards at the 2014 ceremony, including for British Breakthrough Act, British Group, British Single of the Year and British Album of the Year, winning for British Breakthrough Act. As of February 2014, Bastille have sold over 2.07 million records in the UK alone.

Bastille front man, Dan Smith has revealed that they wish to release a new album as soon as possible but are being delayed due to touring schedules. Dan Smith has also said that the new album will be more guitar heavy, electronic and perhaps R&B influenced.

Reasonable Doubt is the debut studio album by American rapper Jay-Z, released on June 25, 1996, by Roc-A-Fella and Priority Records. It features production by DJ Premier, Ski, Knobody and Clark Kent, and guest appearances from Memphis Bleek, Mary J. Blige, and The Notorious B.I.G., among others. Reasonable Doubt features Mafioso rap themes and gritty lyrics about the “hustler” lifestyle and material obsessions.

The album peaked at number 23 on the US Billboard 200, on which it charted for 18 weeks. It was promoted with four singles, including the Hot 100-charting “Ain’t No Nigga” and “Can’t Knock the Hustle”. Reasonable Doubt has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and, as of 2006, has sold 1.5 million copies in the United States.

The family of the South African hostage, released in the Philippines on Sunday, have welcomed news of the release.

Muslim rebels freed five foreign hostages from a jungle hideout Sunday, but still held 19 other captives on the remote Philippine island of Jolo.

The Abu Sayyaf separatist rebels released four women, including South African, Monique Strydom, and one man after Libya agreed to pay 1 (m) million dollars in ransom for each hostage, negotiators said.

Monique’s parents in Pretoria, Monica and Heggie Aggenbag, described their daughter’s release as feeling like “Christmas”.

Their joy was lessened only by the fact that Monique’s husband Callie Strydom is still held by the rebels.

Callie’s brother, Sam Strydom said, however, that he believed his brother was stronger than Monique and would cope without her.

“It’s an absolutely wonderful emotional feeling that one gets when you hear something like that.”

“Now it’s Christmas, we’ve got the most wonderful, beautiful present”
SUPER CAPTION: Monica Aggenbag, Mother

REPORTER QUESTION; “How do you feel about Callie (Monique’s husband who’s been left behind)?”
“Well actually that’s a sad story but what can you do. We thought that they would come out together, but one is a bargain and Callie is next, we know it”
SUPER CAPTION: Hennie Aggenbag, Father

SOUNDBITE: (English)
“I’m very happy that one is out, that’s a good sign, and I think Callie was more the stronger one than Monique and I hope he will cope without her and I’m so happy for Monique being out”
SUPER CAPTION: Sam Strydom, Callie’s brother

SOUNDBITE: (English)
“Monique said that she will not leave that place without Callie. Since then I think she got the message. The Foreign Affairs said that if she can get out she must get out, she must not stay there because we knew that Callie would follow just after her”

http://www.vladtv.com – VladTV caught up with Luther Ridley, aka Eastside Crackhead, and he didn’t let us down with his latest raw freestyle. The aspiring rapper, who previously told us he’d “given up on humanity,” spit a few bars about getting off the streets and making his way to Park Place.

He then threw out a line about sitting “four seats down from Beyonce” at the Barclays Center as he closed out the highly entertaining freestyle.

Blake Shelton Gives First Interview Post Miranda Lambert-Divorce With Red Solo Cup in Hand: “It’s Been One of Those Weeks”

Proceed to party! Two days after finalizing his divorce from Miranda Lambert, a newly single Blake Shelton gave his first interview to Entertainment Tonight, and the segment aired on Monday, Aug. 3.

Shelton, 39, sat down beside fellow country superstar Brad Paisley with a red solo cup in hand filled with “a little vodka” and ice. “I thought I’d go ahead and get it started early,” the Voice coach joked. “It’s been one of those weeks.”

Ditching his wedding ring, Shelton was asked how he was doing. “Well,” he replied cheerfully and facetiously. “I got divorced.”
Shelton and Lambert announced to Us Weekly in a joint statement on July 20, that they were splitting after four years of marriage. “This is not the future we envisioned,” the couple told Us at the time. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.” Hours after their initial split announcement, it was revealed that their divorce was finalized.

The beloved country couple, however, confused their millions of heartbroken fans when they tweeted at each other days later. Lambert made fun of bizarre paparazzi pics of Shelton pushing a stroller with a drink in his hand. “I knew it…. You WERE pregnant!” Lambert cracked at her ex-husband, alongside the pic. “This calls for a drink!”
Shelton then retweeted her message and replied, “Ha!!!!! Busted… I wasn’t JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin…”

Despite their happy act, sources told Us at the time that both parties were “heartbroken” and “devastated” by the shocking split.
Shelton later tweeted in response to a fan who was convinced that their exchange was a “charade.” The country superstar noted, “Well rest assured, not one s— is given.”
A source told Us last week that the exes wanted to “move on as friends” and “there are no hard feelings.”

I was wondering how would a music video feel like without music. So I made this in about four hours. Enjoy! All the credits are at the end of the video. —– Woke up and suddenly have to flip through 52 pages of comments. It’s one of these mornings, isn’t it… Thanks to all of you! 😀 You might be helping me to get enough motivation to get back to making videos. I’ve read your comments and I’d like to clear some things up. I AM USING THE OFFICIAL ACAPELLA VERSION. On top of it, I added sound effects by other people (everyone is credited). That was the bulk of the work within those 4 hours. I used LMFAO as a kind of reference to the videos that used to pop up soon after the Party Rock Anthem m/v was released, with the shuffling combined with different songs. First time I’ve heard Gangnam Style, I thought of Party Rock Anthem – they are really, REALLY similar in style, and I think many people noticed that. So this was just another point to make. I think that was the best song to choose at the end. Also, the lack of sync was caused by some glitch in my editing software. There’s a lot of small things which could be fixed, but for me, it was just another fun project to work on during the evening, so I didn’t really bother. Thanks again! And yes, I might consider doing more of these, I WILL do some different stuff as well, so subscribe and see for yourselves of you’re curious 😉

Live recording of 90th Birthday song for Nelson Mandela in the Jacaranda 94.2 music radio station studios in Midrand, South Africa. What made the shoot challenging and quite a feat, is the fact that four of South Africa’s top solo artists agreed (at 24 hours’ notice) to come to the studio and record a song they had never rehearsed or heard before. The song was hastily written by the Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast production team, including Dean Konidaris, who is featured on this footage recording the song. It happened in a single evening session for Kurt Darren, Tasha Baxter and Craig Hinds. Danny K laid down his voice tracks the next morning at 5:30am! Tasha recorded no less than 6 different voice tracks to add depth to the song. Watershed lead singer Craig Hinds faced the biggest challenge, as the song stretched his vocal capacity both at the top and the bottom of his range. But we got through it and the final mix of the song was played live on Just Plain Breakfast with Darren Scott, less than two hours after Danny K finished his part of the recording. The video had to be produced with the same haste (approx 2 hours for edit, final mix, conversion and upload) and in very cramped production studio conditions. It was a one-woman shoot from start to finish and soundtrack synch without timecode proved to be a horror. Despite this it was a fabulous collaboration which made it in time for the morning of Nelson Mandelas 90th Birthday on 18 July 2008. The video was uploaded to the
